We live in a wild world, you know. Technology in all it's different forms has plowed its way into our lives reshaping the way the whole world operates. A short 55 years ago, my mother was a small girl and can remember her parents buying their very first television set.
What a wonderment! It must have been very exciting. New technology at it's finest.
Now years later, most of us carry a phone around 24/7 that will make calls, text, log on to the Internet, hold games, tv shows, movies, pictures and all kinds of apps.
What an amazement! It is very exciting. New technology at it's finest!
Life is fast paced in this new high tech world! Being efficient with the wonderful technology available is certainly key. I am often saying to MyHandsomeHusband....just imagine what life will be like 10 years from now. At the rate technology is changing and advancing who knows what kind of things will be available to us.
Things like the new Samsung 4-door LCD Refrigerator with Apps. Visit the Official site
Yes, you read it correctly. A refrigerator that has Internet capability. What an amazement! It is very exciting. New technology at it's finest!
This cutting edge refrigerator has a lot of great features. For example, with the new refrigerator, owners are able to view recipes, read the tweets of those they follow, review the family Google calendar, listen to music while cooking or cleaning, check out the weather report and leave notes for their family members with the post-it functionality. Efficiency at it's best.
Amazing!!!! Exciting!!!! Technology is out doing itself.
What do you suppose could be next? How about a washer and dryer that folds clothes neatly and then puts them away in the correct drawer. Imagine all of the time that would save!
Love it!

My dream appliance is a new washer/dryer!!!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't matter what kind, just new ones :)
littlegray88 at yahoo dot com
Dyson Animal (yeah, I know, that already exists, and I have one, but wait, it gets better) with built-in anti-static spray. I've read that the spray helps "release" dog hair. I have the spray, I have the vacuum, but I don't (apparently) have the will power. My dream appliance would eliminate the spraying step.
ReplyDeleteI dream of a dishwaher that cleara the table.

ReplyDeleteAs a teacher, I would love appliances that cook, clean, do laundry (including folding and putting clothes away) without any input from me!! Sigh....a girl can dream! :)
ReplyDeletea machine to pick up clothes after folding it

I would like an appliance that can cook the meals for me. I would go so far as to provide the recipe and the ingredients, then this wonderful appliance can take over and whip up a deslcious meal for me and my family!

I would like a mandolin. I think it would allow more veggies into our recipes as they would be much easier to prepare for use. (Can't say I'd mind a new refrigerator, too, though...)
ReplyDeleteI need a new fridge! The one we currently have is leaking and although we've tried to fix it a few times ourselves we've had absolutely no luck in doing so.
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance would be a gadget that scans the house and tells me what needs to be cleaned in the order of importance!
ReplyDeleteI'd like an appliance that will dream up and execute healthy, yummy, organic lunches for 4 kids, for school, every day.
ReplyDeleteYup. That'd be sweet.
I think an electric duster would be great...I dislike that chore

My dream appliance would be an energy efficient range! I cook a lot, and I know that my stove is a major chunk of my electricity usage (after A/C and heat, of course).
ReplyDeleteIf I could have any appliance I would like a commercial stove with the griddle. I'd also like a larger fridge and my dishwasher is on the blink so anything would be a blessing.
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance is a fridge that will keep my food organized, and alert me when food has spoiled! :)
ReplyDeletebolton.lindsay@gmail.com
My dream appliance would be a refrigerator that had a child-lock button feature (like the water lock). It would have sturdy shelves that could withstand my kids hanging on, OR it would have a scanning feature that scanned our hands and didn't open for my two small kids. WOW that would save me so much money in products, electricity, broken features inside my fridge, and much more.

My dream appliance would be a self cleaning refridgerator. I have 3 young, clutsy boys...enough said!...lol
ReplyDeleteI would love a new improved stove! I cook alot and love to bake.
ReplyDeleteI wish my fridge had a "scanner" in it. So that when I put something in it, it would scan it. And when I was out...it would let me know!
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance is the Samsung Refrigerator and Freezer with the internet. It will help me be productive while cooking and might actually get my girlfriend in the kitchen!

Double ovens/ Gas stove with a side grill top!
ReplyDeleteI would love a stove that had two separate ovens so that I can do cake or cookies in one while doing biscuits or bread in the other. Since everything has different temps, I feel like I spend a lot of time waiting for one thing to get done so I can put the next in the oven - especially around the holidays.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a subzero fridge. My mom has one and food stays good forever!!!
ReplyDeleteThis refrigerator is a real dream to me. Not only do I NEED a new fridge but this has all the bells and whistles a girl could want. **sigh**
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance would be a dishwasher. I have a huge family and I do the dishes. This appliance would help me save time and do less work. This would be a gos send.

How about an oven/stove that could auto sense what temperature to cook food at and for the precise amount of time. It would also need to clean itself...not just the inside, and the top, but the sides where it meets up with counters/cabinets (and food invariably spills down there. ew right?). shansen20@ hotmail dot com

My dream appliance would be one that rinses the dishes. Puts them in the dishwasher and then puts them back in the cabinets. I hate having to do dishes after preparing a meal.
ReplyDeletepica_princess_88@yahoo.com
my dream appliance would be the fridge also that has the freezer on the bottom, I have a side by side and its so hard to squeeze large items in it
ReplyDeletepedidentalasst at yahoo dot com
A larger and modern refrigerator would help us out so much.My frig is soooo old and the door doesn't even seal and close right. It's meant for like a garage...ciao4now64@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteBesides this wonderful refridgerator that could definately be my dream appliance, I really really want a gas range stove with the 2 ovens on the bottom...I love cooking and baking...and with 2 ovens at my hands I can bake more cookies at one time, cook two different things at the same time with different oven temps..oh the many things I could do with 2 ovens
ReplyDeleteMy Dream appliance would have to be a washer that changes into a dryer after the clothes are washed, dries the clothes and folds them and separates by size. and then texts me to let me know they are finished and ready to put in the drawers.
ReplyDeletehey that's not asking for much. lol
nightowlmamablogs at gmail dot com
My dream appliance is that, that folds and takes care of the clothes, dont have to be the washer/dryer it can be something different, but I dislike this part of laundry so would love something like this.

ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance would be some sort of magical cupboard/refrigerator that's able to scan everything inside it & come up with recipes I can make using those items. That would save me lots of time! Especially if you could text your cupboard from the grocery store, asking if you have flour or oil or whatever.
ReplyDeleteI think the next high-tech applicance should be an automated baby changing station. Insert infant, wait for ding, remove fresh, sweet-smelling baby while station takes care of dirty diaper. Every mother's dream come true!

My dream appliance is this refrigerator! We just bought my grandmother's house and have been using very old appliances - including a refrigerator that my father swears was here when I was growing up, over 20 years ago. It's tiny, makes 6 cubes of ice every 12 hours and only has three shelves! I'm ready for a new fridge, just like this one!
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance is this refrigerator! We recently bought my grandmother's house and are using her old appliances. We don't have the money right now to replace them. All the appliances are a little iffy but the fridge is especially bad. My father swears it was here when I was growing up, over 20 years ago! It is small, makes 6 ice cubes every 12 hours and only has three shelves! I'll take this one, any day of the week!
ReplyDeleteI want a fridge I can get a list for my grocery shopping from! Low on milk, butter and eggs.... it adds it to the list, put your menu in and it generates a list of what you need to shop for!!
ReplyDeleteThat fridge looks amazing! We'd put it to great use!

I need a washer that detects stains I've missed and gets them out for me and/or a dryer that lets me know before I turn it on if there are clothes that the stains didn't come out. Or, I'd settle for a washing machine and dryer that just did all the laundry by itself for me :)
ReplyDeletebeebefox@hotmail.com
Boy I would love this fridge (and need it). However, my dream appliance would be a double oven. I love to bake and need a double oven to support my habit!
ReplyDeleteAlisha P.
alishaparker01@yahoo.com
My dream appliance would be a fridge like the Samsung 4-door LCD Refrigerator with Apps with one of the apps having the ability to find good, yummy, family recipes for you based on what you have in your fridge. Or a dishwasher that actually cleaned the dishes really well without leaving soap residue behind.
ReplyDeleteA self cleaning refrigerator, that would be nice. Also, a return to glass shelves and heavier plastic drawers and the track that they slide on. I have a GE profile stainless steel refrigerator that is only 4 years old and within 2 years the tracks that the drawers slide on were broken, cheap thin plastic. The fan that cools the compressor also stopped working, it resembles a cheap plastic fan that you would see on a toy instead of a refrigerator. This was a $1,700 refrigerator and it is junk. These new appliances need to be better quality for this kind of money.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a double oven. I could get so much more baking done!
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance would be a NEW Stove! I have lived in my home for 34 years and have the original stove. Although it keeps chugging along, and I have become a creative cook because of the hot spot in the oven, a new one would be a refreshing breath of air for my kitchen and my family. Thanks for the chance to enter and put the $100 toward a new stove.
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance would be an oven that has internet capabilities and would email me a message when the food is done. This would prevent me from burning food while I am back in the computer room playing on the computer! :) Yep - has happened at least once, ok, maybe more than once? LOL
ReplyDeletekat.wise@yahoo.com

I wouldn't mind something that sorted laundry without me.
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance would be a washing machine that automatically dries your clothes for you without having to move them to another machine. An added bonus would be somehow hanging up the clothes for me or laying them flat so they don't wrinkle.
ReplyDeleteI would love a dryer that dried and ironed my clothes.
ReplyDeleteI would love a refrigerator that will hold everything. I am constantly having or reorganize and move things around.

It has been a crazy year and a half for my son and I. My husband left us and we lost everything (but each other!!) and went from a beautiful 1600 SF home with a cooks kitchen to a 1,000 SF trailer with a stove that only has one full size burner, no oven window, no oven light, and your choice of a whopping two rack heights! ARRGG! I am a cook! I am a baker! I must have a decent stove! Of course times are financially tough, so I sit around dreaming of a beautiful new stove with big burners and quick heat up and an oven that actually, yanno, WORKS! Oh the joy of the little things in life - an oven light would be pure bliss!
ReplyDeleteI need a machine that not only will wash and dry clothes, but iron, fold, put away and do the occasional repair too (missing button, hem, etc)! Basically I need my own personal Rosie. LOL

I would like a clothes washer that does the clothes by itself. The user would sort the soiled laundry into appropriate bins. When the clothes in a bin measured a full load, the washing machine would add the appropriate pre-selected laundry additives and add the clothes from the bin. After it completed washing the clothes, the machine would then dry them, again, according to pre-programmed settings for that type of laundry. A few minutes before the laundry is dry the machine would send you a text to let you know!
this fridge is my dream
ReplyDeleteGREAT GIVEAWAY, THANKS SO MUCH, SOFTIE100@HOTMAIL.COM
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance would be a pre-power wash on the dishes -- so that they actually come out of the machine clean!
ReplyDeleteLooks like my dream appliance would be this super duper refrigerator that you have here!!! Wow! A fridge with internet capability! Be still my heart!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!
My dream refrigerator would season and/or marinate my food for me. You get home from the supermarket - throw your meat in a shoot, press a button saying how you'd like it seasoned and it would get it all ready for you when you are ready to cook it.

My dream appliance is robot like Rosey from the Jetsons. I need someone to clean, fold and put away our laundry!!
ReplyDeleteMy dream appliance would be something that goes around the kitchen and collects the items I need from a particular cupboard, fridge or pantry as I need them--while I'm making a recipe. I just tell it a particular item and while I'm mixing up my recipe, it retrieves the next few items or all. But, yeah, I could think of a ton of appliances that would be a dream in a kitchen. ReplyDeleteMy favorite appliance would be a fridge with the doors that open on top. I get so tired of bending over to get into the fridge...and I am tired of my 4 year old grabbing out all the things he likes to eat and either eating it, or leaving it on the counter and it spoils overnight. (sigh)
