Tropicana Orange Juice and $100 Visa Gift Card Giveaway

This is a sponsored post from BlogHer and Tropicana.

This giveaway is now closed.

Fresh Oranges in the winter. Yum. We can't get enough of them around here! There's not a kid walking these halls of mine that doesn't love a good orange. That is a relief! Kids with a love for a good healthy orange.

Orange Juice...? They love it just as much! (If given the opportunity, the two children pictured above would drink OJ at every meal and three times between each meal.)

I was very  happy to discover that Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice contains 16 picked fresh oranges in each 59 oz container. That's not too shabby! I was equally excited to learn this wonderful juice has no added sugar, artificial flavors, sweetener or water. Amazing. They don't even add water? That is a lot of orange!

One 8 ounce glass of Tropicana Orange Juice has a fulls day's supply of vitamin C, as much potassium as a banana  and is a natural source of the vitamin B foliate. That is something I can feel good about! We all want to feel good about the food we are supplying for our little ones. I have been pleased to learn that Tropicana Orange Juice is good through and through. Think of it as handing your kidlets an orange in the liquid form. A fantastic way to put a little bit of "good" in your morning.

  1. I make sure my breakfast is a balanced one! I have a good amount of protein paired with a whole grain carb and some kind of fruit or vegetable. Some of my favorite breakfasts are omelets (egg whites, cheese, spinach) and topped waffles (toasted waffle topped with almond butter and 100% fruit spread)! I also have vitamins every morning!

  2. Good nutrition??? Most anything will do as long as I have Diet Dr Pepper to go along with it.

  3. Healthy eating around here includes fresh or dried fruit for snacks, a bowl of oatmeal (it's gotta be McCann's steel cut Irish oats--best tasting oatmeal ever!) for breakfast, and eating chocolate as much as possible.

  4. On a school day morning it is peanut butter sandwich on wheat toast and orange juice. I'd love to be one of those moms that cook breakfast, but my kiddo likes to sleep until the last second. I just try my best to get him to eat something!!

  5. Since my breakfast is usually a bowl of cereal, I add a banana or raisins to it to give it something extra. I also drink tropicana (trop 50). If its the weekend or we are too busy we make fruit smoothies out of mixed berries, banana, and orange juice. They are soooo good!.
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  9. Breakfast around here is hit and miss. My son likes to have breakfast at school (yay for healthy school breakfasts!), hubby likes leftovers (yeah, weird) and the 3 year old loves pancakes or waffles. I try to make them as healthy as possible by making them whole wheat or buckwheat. I use yogurt in the batter and add a peanut butter or fruit topping. Sometimes I'll sneak applesauce and bananas into the batter if he's just wanting things plain.

  119. Eating healthy around here is a little different. My husband has to eat twice the amount of calories to stay in his ideal weight range and my two year old girl is just like her dad. I'm constantly looking for ways to add good fats and carbs to their food to up their caloric intake. I add olive oil to their eggs and serve with avocado. We eat a lot of whole grains in our cereals (hot and cold). I blend in some cottage cheese to our pancake and waffle batter. After all those filling goods it gets difficult to get them to eat all the fruits and veges they need. I love, love, love juice. I have a juicer and serve some vege/fruit juice every morning. I do love to buy orange juice. It seems like the only fruit juice I can count on being 100% without all the unnatural things.

  155. Our life revolves around breakfast and dinner. We eat breakfast as family each morning, before my husband leaves to work at 6. At first I dreaded mornings,I am unlike my husband who is a morning person. But I wanted to spend more time with him, and a chance to see him in the morning was worth it. Just that simple thing of making breakfast for him and our family, has really continued to strengthen our relationship. So even thought I love sleeping in, I wouldn't trade the bond for anything. That IS our healthy breakfast. I make anything from biscuits and gravy, pancakes, crepes, muffins, monkey bread, breakfast burros...we love our breakfasts, and over the years I have come to learn how to make any breakfast for a family of 6 in 30 minutes or less. There's nothing like sitting around the table, with all of our family.

  162. We've always been an orange juice family, too. And since I discovered Tropicana a few months ago, there's been no turning back. Why didn't someone tell me how much better it was before?!

I like to keep a couple gallons of orange juice in the fridge (we are a big family) and at least a couple of good options ready for breakfast - waffles, oatmeal, eggs. Most breakfast foods are a quick fix, so it's easy to get to the eating.

My children are much more aware of what they are eating and making sure we have included foods from all areas of the food pyramid. The amount of fruits and veggies that we eat is huge so a $100 gift card would really be a blessing! My email is bethfraser22 at hotmail dot com

Their favorites are french toast caserole, homemade oatmeal raisin breakfast cookies or blueberry muffins, whole wheat bagels with cream cheese, or the staple go to: Cheerios (the plain yellow box) - the girls just love 'em.
