  1. Favorite summer time meal? Grilled pizzas on the BBQ hands down! Oh I can just see me now in that apron cooking up those for my family. ; D

  2. A big scoop of "Stuffed Pasta Salad" served on top of a bed of romaine & spring greens is my favorite summer meal. Pretty much anything and everything is stuffed into the bowl with the pasta & dressing. Pepperoni, cheese, grilled chicken pieces, diced ham, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, olives, broccoli, kidney beans, garbanzos, peas, corn, diced avocado...YUMMY!

  3. Down here in SW Florida during the summer it is way to hot to cook in the house. The grill becomes my best friend. I have been making lots of grilled chicken salads. Every night it is a new marinade/seasoning on the chicken and for the salad lots of choices; different lettuces, cucumbers, colorful peppers, red and yellow tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, spinach, green beans, snap peas, different kinds of shredded cheese, avocado, chick peas, black beans. It is never the same salad.

  4. Grilled salads are the best! It's gto tons of stuff, grilled chicken, grilled corn (slather olive oil on corn, grill it up, then cut off the kernels), grilled tomatoes, grilled zucchini and yellow squash, grilled asparagus, grilled red onion, grilled carrot slices, grilled red peppers... And pretty much any other veggies you feel like drizzled w/ a balsamic vinegarette. Yum!!!

  6. Favorite summertime meal? Anything I don't have to make myself! I tend to take the summer's off...sometimes unintentionally. :) Maybe a new apron would help me get back to cooking again. (And by cooking, I mean MEALS instead of just desserts!)

  7. At our house we just can't wait for the red potatoes to grow in the garden. We slice them up, toss with a little oil and italian dressing mix and grill them up. We love to eat them with grilled chicken or a hamburger off of the grill and a tossed salad with green from the garden.

  38. Fruit Salad, definitely! Soaked in orange juice for a while. Drain off the fruit and save the juice. It doesn't taste like OJ anymore and the fruit salad is so juicy and tasty. The OJ becomes a wonderful and yummy fruit juice blend! I love your blog by the way.
